From Acceptable to Exceptional

Exceptional performance is possible with deliberate structure, clarity, and guidance. Executive teams must establish and apply a leadership system to ensure the entire organization engages with a shared focus. --Dwaine Canova
From Acceptable to Exceptional

How do you get your performance from acceptable to exceptional?

See the Opportunities. Clarify outcomes and process. Engage your team.

See the opportunities in all circumstances, especially with mistakes and problems. Exceptional leaders see and react to mistakes and problems as opportunities revealed. This perspective motivates learning to solve them with a view of the new things to be created.

There is no need for fault finding when you are fully engaged with creating a new thing. This positive energy creates enthusiasm, creativity, and great successes.

Just solving problems tends to happen with a narrow ‘fix it’ focus. Clarifying what the ‘fix’ will create (opportunity) is expansive and about the future.

Exceptional leadership is identifying, clarifying, and prioritizing opportunities. Doing this with a positive view of the present and the future builds energy and shared successes.

We are passionate about helping executive teams get to their exceptional level.

To help this movement, I have devoted years to building the system presented in the Exceptional Executive Teams book.

I wish I had known this earlier in my life. I would have contributed to others’ lives even more positively.
